  • Dag Mejdell

    CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

    Dag Mejdell has extensive experience from a range of senior leadership positions in the business sector. He served as CEO of Posten Norge AS from 2006 to 2016. From 2000 to 2005, he was CEO of Dyno Nobel ASA, having previously spent 19 years at Dyno ASA, including his final three years as CEO.

    Dag holds a degree in business administration from NHH in Bergen. In addition to serving as Chair of the Board of Mestergruppen AS, he is Chair of the Board of Elopak ASA and Vice Chair of the Board of SpareBank 1 Sør-Norge ASA and Nordic Ferry Infrastructure AS. He has previously served as Chair of the Board of Norsk Hydro ASA, Vygruppen AS, International Post Corporation UA C.V. and Visolit New Finco AS, among others.

    Dag has been Chair of the Board of Mestergruppen since 2020.

  • Ida Aall Gram

    BOARD MEMBER

    Ida Aall Gram is the CEO of Aspelin Reitan Eiendom AS. She previously served as CEO of Aspelin Eiendom and, before that, as Group CEO of the Aspelin Ramm Group.

    Between 2017 and 2022, Ida held several leadership roles at AF Gruppen, including Portfolio Director at AF Eiendom and Group Executive Vice President responsible for property, HR and communications. She also has experience from Gyldendal ASA, Orkla Eiendom and McKinsey.

    Ida holds a degree in business administration from Handelshøyskolen BI, specialising in finance. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of NCC AB since 2024 and joined the Board of Directors of Mestergruppen in 2026.

  • Are Dragesund

    BOARD MEMBER | FERD

    Are is Co-Head of Ferd Capital and responsible for Ferd’s ownership follow-up in Mestergruppen. He has worked at Ferd since 2015, focusing on both private and listed investments.

    Previously, Are gained 15 years of experience in management consulting and investment activities at BCG and Cardo Partners. He holds a degree in business administration from NHH and has served on the Board of Directors of Mestergruppen since 2018.

  • Camilla Hansson

    BOARD MEMBER

    Camilla is a second-generation building materials retailer and co-owner of XL-BYGG Skärhamn, Varekil and Bleket on Sweden’s west coast. She has worked in the building materials retail sector for 16 years and also has previous experience from the chemical industry.

    Camilla holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Luleå tekniska universitet and joined the Board of Directors of Mestergruppen AS in 2026.

  • Eirik Mathisen

    BOARD MEMBER | REPRESENTATIVE BYGGTORGET MG HOLDING

    Eirik is a third-generation Managing Director and owner of the long-established Byggtorget Mathisen & Mathisen AS in Narvik. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of Mestergruppen, he is also a board member of Byggtorget MG Holding.

    He was involved in establishing the Byggtorget chain in 1997 and has served for many years as Chair of the Nomination Committee. Eirik has completed four years of studies in economics at Høgskolen i Bodø and has been a member of the Board of Directors of Mestergruppen since 2016.

  • Merete Aarheim

    BOARD MEMBER

    Merete is a fourth-generation owner and operator of XL-BYGG Sølvberg in Stryn, as well as a Blink Hus dealer in Nordfjord. She has previous experience from Selvaag and NCC.

    Merete holds a degree in business administration from Norges Handelshøyskole and has been a member of the Board of Directors of Mestergruppen since 2024.

  • Erik T. Jakobsen

    BOARD MEMBER | FERD

    Erik works as an Investment Professional at Ferd Capital and, together with Are, is responsible for following up Ferd’s ownership in Mestergruppen. He has worked at Ferd since 2016 and previously worked at Ernst & Young Transactions.

    Erik holds a degree in business administration from Handelshøyskolen BI. He served as a board observer at Mestergruppen from 2016 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2023.

  • Jørn Halvorsen

    BOARD MEMBER | REPRESENTATIVE FOR EMPLOYEES

    Jørn is Head of Business Intelligence at Mestergruppen and has worked for the company since 2014. He previously gained 20 years of experience as a self-employed business owner, as well as three years as Operations Manager at Sentrum Bygg.

    He has studied at Datahøgskolen, NHH and UiO, and has served on the Board of Directors of Mestergruppen since 2021.

  • Mohammed Abdulgani

    BOARD MEMBER | REPRESENTATIVE FOR EMPLOYEES

    Mohammed is Head of IT Operations at Mestergruppen and has worked for the company since 2018. He has 14 years of experience in IT and previously worked as an Implementation Consultant at the IT company TeleComputing.

    He is passionate about driving innovative and efficient solutions. Mohammed holds a qualification in Network Administration from Imente fagskole and has several Microsoft certifications.

  • Trygve Holtskog

    DEPUTY MEMBER | OBSERVER

    Trygve Holtskog has previously served as Managing Director of Europris AS, Group CEO of Expert ASA and Divisional Director of Retail at Hakon Gruppen AS. He has also held various positions at Nordea and Sørlandsbanken.

    He has board experience from a number of retail chains, property companies and industrial businesses. Trygve holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking Administration from BI. He has been an alternate board member of Mestergruppen since 2016 and currently serves as an alternate board member and observer.
