Through the BOLIST, Byggeriet, Byggtorget and XL-BYGG chains, Mestergruppen is one of the leading players in building materials retail in the Nordic region. With more than 500 building materials stores in Norway and Sweden – the vast majority of which are member-owned – we are close to both professional tradespeople and private customers across the Nordic region.

Within surface products and interior design, Mestergruppen is represented through the Colorama, Fargerike, Happy Homes, Kulør, Mal Proff and WIFA chains. Together, these form one of the Nordic region’s largest networks within surface products and interior design, with more than 450 stores in Norway and Sweden. The vast majority of stores are member-owned and run by local entrepreneurs with strong local knowledge and professional expertise.

Together with our members, Mestergruppen is Norway’s largest homebuilder. In 2025, we started construction on 2,200 homes and 250 cabins. Through strong homebuilding chains, contractors and professional environments, we develop homes, cabins and residential areas with a focus on quality, sustainability and great customer experiences.

Within plumbing, we offer products, services and solutions for both professional customers and the private market. Through VVS Norge, the group has nearly 200 member companies, around 2,400 plumbing professionals and four strong chain concepts that together strengthen the competitiveness of Norwegian plumbing companies.

Within logistics and manufacturing, Mestergruppen develops efficient solutions that strengthen the competitiveness of our chains, member companies and partners across the Nordic region. With modern logistics facilities at Kløfta and in Jönköping, we ensure high delivery capacity and efficient goods flows for our operations and customers.

Ferd AS is Mestergruppen’s largest owner, while members of the various chains also make up a significant share of the group’s shareholders.

In 2025, Mestergruppen had annual revenue of more than NOK 19 billion.

Mestergruppen is a member of the UN Global Compact, and our service office in Oslo is Miljøfyrtårn certified.
